馬的政府上台各項親中措施讓許多國際社會認為台灣已經與中國邁向統一之路，在馬英九上台不到半年的時間內，IMF 就以 Taiwan Province of China 來稱呼我們，雖然這已經不是新聞，但是看到感覺還是很差。尤其最近 IMF 公布的 World Economic Outlook April 2009 中，又看到該名稱，感覺實在怒了，在好友 Politologe 的協助下，撰寫了這封抗議信，希望大家多多發信給 IMF 或其他國際團體，讓他們瞭解台灣就是台灣，不是中國的一省。如果有哪為網友發現有其他矮化台灣國格的單位，也煩請告訴我，我把他列進清單，順便可以改一下抗議信讓大家去發。
由於台灣被矮化的場合實在太多，因此本信特別設計成只要將第一段的第一句改掉，就可以運用在各個組織。如果你看那個單位把台灣用奇怪的名稱來取代，都可以拿去寄，在此要多謝好友 Politologe 熱心的協助。

國際觀是一種行動
國際觀不是坐在冷氣房裡，優雅地喝著咖啡，高談闊論。國際觀是一種基於對全球大勢的關懷與瞭解，而捲起袖子去身體力行的行動，這包括：
1. 寫信給各國政府、政治領袖；
2. 透過拒買參與施壓；
3. 參加示威抗議；
4. 選舉符合你立場的政治人物：選出希特勒，就要有面對戰爭的準備；選出張伯倫，就要有外交政策軟弱無能的心理準備！
5. 公投，向國際表達你的意見。
1990年代，有太多國家使用公投來決定重大外交政策。前蘇聯各加盟共和國紛紛公投獨立；波多離各公投決定繼續維繫與美國的關係；魁北克公投的結果，仍然留在加拿大；瑞士公投要參與世界銀行和國際貨幣基金。
或許妳/你覺得自己很渺小，微不足道！但別忘了聚沙成塔的力量！面對一個不友善、冷漠無情的國際環境，默不作聲只有被吃定，該大聲抗議時，就要採取行動！
當無能的馬政府不斷以出賣台灣利益換取自身利益的同時，身為台灣人的你一定要大聲的向國際組織說出「Taiwan is Taiwan, not a province of China」，並且用選票唾棄這個政黨，才能讓台灣人免於被中國統治的命運。

To whom it may concern,
At your latest World Economic Outlook issued on April 4th, 2009, you mistakenly named Taiwan as “Taiwan, a Province of China” (pp. 4, 15, 37, 72, 82, 88, 89 ). This is an unacceptable and inappropriate act against professionalism by default.
Taiwan which bears the title as “Republic of China” is not a part of China, let alone a province of it. This island is not covered within the sovereign sphere of China. China never exercises her sovereignty on this island. In 1945, Japan, the last legal ruler of Taiwan, abandoned her sovereignty over Taiwan without handing it over to any regime. On his statement for Neutralization of the Strait of Formosa on June 27th 1950, former U.S. President Harry Truman pointed out that the “determination of the future status of Formosa must await the restoration of security in the Pacific, a peace settlement with Japan, or consideration by the United Nations”. In the 1951 San Francisco Peace Treaty, the international community (including the U.S.) purposefully left the status of Taiwan, formerly a Japanese colony, undetermined. We see no reason for China to claim its sovereignty over Taiwan.
We understand that you are forced by China to name Taiwan as “Taiwan, a province of China.” However, such action without legal support and consent by the Taiwanese is not any better than raping the people living on this island. We sincerely urge you to respect our own name as Taiwan, or the Republic of China.
